Career development programs

  • Guest Lecture on “Career Guidance and Interview Techniques”
  • Guest Lecture on “MCA Guidance and Career prospects”
  • Guest Lecture on “Placement assistance for students” by Tata Institute of Social sciences, school of vocational education.
  • Placement drive was organized in college premises on 5th April 2019. Various IT organizations like Adept HRM solutions, TISS, Innovator web solutions, SAAR IT, MICM, Yes Foundation, and epicenter participated in the drive. Aptitude as well as technical tests and interview sessions were held in the college premises.
  • BCA students attended “International Conference on innovations in higher education” on April 28, 2018.
  • TYBCA students attended “International Conference on Future ready Education” on January 19, 2019.

Innovative activities

Various events at collegiate and intercollegiate level are started and executed by students. These activities develop leadership skills among students. Students are given the opportunity to plan & execute various activities in these events by forming a core committee.

  • TechnoMedia is a technical fest initiated by the department to give a platform to showcase technical skills and media flair of our students. Various competitions were held as part of this fest. Activities like PPT presentation, Coding & debugging game, RJing / VJing, Creativity in Selfie, Doodling / Logo designing competition, Poster makingcompetition, Poetry reciting competition are held. “The future of learning is through technology, so this endeavor from the department is very much the need of an hour” says Principal Dr. Deepa Sharma while talking about the event.
  • "Melange" is an inter-collegiate media fest organized by BMM department. BCA department students actively take part in this event and handle various important duties diligently. Students handle important committees like registration, marketing, inventory management, and anchoring.
  • E-waste drive
  • "Smart-O-Thon" is an online technical eventthat was designed by BCA Department to encourage students to apply their knowledge, creativity and skills towards solving a problem through a piece of software. 2 seasons of this event have been successfully organized even during the challenging time of pandemic.
  • Students are also motivated to participate in various conferences, seminars, workshops & inter as well as intra-college Competitions, Kaushalya, Tejaswini, Youth festival to name a few.

Social responsibility and gender sensitization activities

  • Visit to Orphanage Social Responsibility Committee
  • Cleanliness Drive at Juhu Beach, under “Swachha Bharat Abhiyan” organized by “Mission Green Mumbai” NGO.
  • Cleanliness Drive at Gorai Khadi, Borivali.
  • Workshop on ER Fellowship Programme based on urban governance by Praja Foundation under Social Responsibility Drive
