Arogyam Health Center

The health Centre was planted on 16th October 2007. This Centre aims at creating awareness among the students about the importance of health and healthy life, conducting activities for the staff member as well as community.

To educate the stakeholders in the areas of health, nutrition and hygiene, delivering primary health care by the way of conducting various expert talks, free distribution of medicines to the students. To educate the masses in the areas of health including mobilization of community groups to better quality of life. To bring forth an attitude in students regarding healthy body and healthy mind. To create awareness of healthy living among the students.

To attain the possible level of health and well being to the girl through a preventive and promotive healthcare orientation and provide accessibility to the free primary health care services. This Centre primarily work to support the motto of ‘Thalassemia free Bharat’

Ensuring Access to Health- students

In collaboration with lions Club of Juhu our Centre has organized Thalassemia Detection with the students of all mediums of F.Y.BA, FYBCOM and Professional Courses. This include orientation of the students regarding Thalassemia for the students at entry level, conducting free Thalassemia check-up , scrutiny of the reports, counseling of the student as well as parent of the Thalassemia minor student by doctor and providing free medicines to the students who have less hemoglobin as per report.

Lecture on PCOS and menstruation was organized
