The INTERGENERATIONAL INTERACTION PROGRAMME (IGI) aims at bridging the gap between the younger and older generations, contributes to recognition of senior citizens as repositories of traditional knowledge and wisdom. It also gives both the groups an opportunity to reciprocate their feelings and acquire relevant skills.

The department conducts intercollegiate paper presentation on topics that are not only socially relevant but also deal with contemporary issues. Students from different departments of the college are also encouraged to participate in the same and voice their opinions.

This activity gives the students an opportunity to interact with their peers from different colleges.
