Department Of PSYCHOLOGY

We being a student-centric department have diverse teaching methods for the heterogenous group of students who join our department. This helps in better learning outcomes and our academic results are almost in the range of 90 percent. As we develop love for the subject amongst the students almost 25-30 percent students select Psychology in their Post-Graduation (student progression), after which they choose Psychology as their careers in various fields in the likes of Clinical, Industrial as well as Counselling Psychology. Many of our students use their knowledge of Psychology after they graduate with us when they join areas like media, law and management etc. Students get maximum exposure in the field of psychology as the department arranges students’ visits to conferences, inter-collegiate events, counselling centres, Psychiatric wards of the hospitals as well as practicing Psychiatrists and Psychologists practicing in the field.
